Industrial Hygienist
Duties and responsibilities:
What industrial
hygienist do is they evaluate health hazards, conduct health risk, or they work
with business health programs. They often:

Collect samples and perform laboratory analyses.

Check worker exposure to radiation, vibrations, and
noise.
·
Calibrate equipment.
·
Investigate possible health hazards.
Average Salary: $40,000-$60,000
Educational Requirements:
Students
should take challenging courses. They should take mathematics and science
during high school. Many jobs require certification and/or a master’s degree. Certification
requires successful completion of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene
examination.
