Reflection: This is the final quote of the year and this means if you are obedient and listen/ do what you are told, life will be easier for you. You will live a happier life and remain that way. All you have to do is be obedient. Ex: If you are asked to do a task such as cleaning your room, why go through the struggle of not doing it and making your parents upset. Instead you should be obedient and listen and make your parents happy and struggle free knowing that you listen and do what your told. 

Progress of 100 Goals!

In our class we did an assignment on 100 goals we would like to fulfill in our lifetime. My progress is going great. most of my goals i plan to accomplish during the summer like making a youtube channel. So most of my goals are completed but as the weeks go by i'm making more that i wish to accomplish. im proud of myself because some of my goals were trying to conquer my fears like riding roller coasters and i did, so im proud of that. I have many more years to go on accomplishing my goals. 

      

1. What did you like about this class?
~ What I liked about the class is when we learned about the student success statements, reason being we learned about words such as responsibility, honesty, and obedience. This helps us for later on in the future when we have a choice to either do a right or wrong thing. Another thing i enjoyed was learning about the different medical fields, since we are a medical school. This gives us the opportunity to learn and to help us decide how we want our future.

2. What did you dislike about this class?
~Everything was well put together because there was a routine from when we walked through the door. So there was nothing i disliked. But there was something i didn't like that students would do, they would talk back and they were very rude to the teacher. This would interrupt the class and make the teacher very upset.

3. What can you recommend to improve the class?
~ To improve the class its not really what the teacher should do but, students just need to learn to respect their teachers.

4. What will you always remember about this class?
~ What I will always remember is how nice Mr. Haymore is. He loves teaching us about quotes and how to prepare us as an individual for the real world. Along with videos that were at times sad but at the end we learned to appreciate what we have.

Reflection: This is a wonderful quote bringing the topic of obedience, When you just listen instead of being disobedient you make life easier for yourself and others. 

Plastic Surgeon

Duties and responsibilities: The duties of a Plastic Surgeon is they provide medical care to those who need transplants. Some of the injuries they treat are burns, abnormalities, and approximate normal appearance, when someone wants to improve their body, or even tumors.

Education: A bachelor's degree and any major is acceptable. After that you must have at least 2 years of medical school. The topics you must study is the body systems, diseases, and patient care.

Reflection: When we discuss the topic of obedience, it means to obey, or do, what your told. We are practically tested when we are told something because, when we listen that shows you are responsible and respectful. If you are not obedient then you show you have no self control and you don't care about what others are telling you.

Duties and responsibilities:

The primary job of a neurologist is to diagnose and treat disorders related to nervous system and other related diseases by administer in average and other related diseases various kinds of tests.

Reflection: This is a wonderful statement about the word Obedience, obedience is when you do what you are told without being defiant. When you are growing up without someone teaching you right from wrong, and not teaching you how to be obedient, you are being exposed by the people around you. You have so many influences in your life. You eventually do what you hear other people say, wether its right or wrong.

Reflection: This quote has to do with obedience which is to have compliance with an order or request. If your obedient anywhere you go then you will be respected and live a happier life. For example, If you want to be obedient in your classroom you would follow all school/classroom rules.

Duties and Responsibilities: What they do is deal and handle Chinese medicine. So they use a Chinese way to cure patients, such as, diet, massage, exercise, herbal medicine, and breathing therapy. They use these methods to get your energy flowing.

Educational Requirements: To become an Eastern Medicine Doctor, you need to go to college and get a Master’s degree and a doctoral degree in traditional Chinese medicine.

          When you take drugs you not only hurt yourself, but others around you like family and friends. IT CAN AFFECT YOUR FUTURE. You have no self control, and no self respect. Drugs lie, there supposed to help you have the time of your life and help you forget your problems. If you influence others to do drugs it affects them the way it hurts you.

Reflection: When you go to bed early your ready for the morning to do well, for example, you have a test the next day and you're stressing, what you can do is get a well sleep. If you do that you will be well rested so you have the right mind to pass your test. 

 Oriental medicine doctor 

Duties and Responsibilities: Oriental medicine practitioners use forms of acupuncture and treatment through the Chinese idea of “qi”, this means energy. Some of the techniques that can be done are acupuncture, cupping, and herbal supplements that also have to do with specific body parts or tissues.

Average salary: $80,000

Education: Students should be taking the most challenging high school courses, they should also graduate, after that they must get a bachelors’ degree, and an AOM degree.

Top 5 Heart Health Tips

1.  Try and keep a health diet.

How i can improve my heath is maybe doing yoga, reason being its a good way to relax your body and relief from stress. What i can also do is avoid smoking till the day i die, i haven't nor will try it. Also working out is another good way so i can keep my body healthy and my mind. Not eating chili as often as i do can contribute to keeping a healthy diet along with eating a good portion size.

Reflection: In this statement by Hippocrates is trying to say that heath is the most important thing to worry about, if you have bad health that can effect you very badly because that would mean that you wont live a long life, or a happy one. If you want to be in certain sports but your health is not in good condition, then you might not be able to run or move as fast as everyone else.

                    Sports Medicine Doctor

Duties and responsibilities: What they do is they basically diagnose and treat their patient (athletes), with injuries that happen during sports. You can have the opportunity to work with other health professionals. You can help the patients after their injury so they can fix the broken bone or any other injury.

Salary: $202,790

Education: After you get a bachelor’s degree which you have a strong pre medical background, you have to attend a medical school to earn a doctor of medicine degree.

Reflection: What W.Clement Stone's message is trying to say is when you know something is wrong dont do it, do the right thing! you will feel better about it. Ex:If someone offers you to do drugs, and you know its wrong, just say no and walk away. 

Wellness Professional

What they do is instruct and do the planning so their coworkers can know what they will be doing. They work for schools, companies, or other organizations in which they can train people about their fitness goal.  They usually inform of talk with people about life style.

Educational Requirements: They must have a high school degree, and then they must have a degree in discipline also having to do with nursing. They must then go through a supervised training.

Reflection: To me this reflection mean that when you are doing the right thing but you don't succeed you will know at least you did the right thing to fail rather than cheat and win. you should always do the right thing that way you can live a happier life.

Duties and responsibilities: What they do is prepare the treatment room, and they prepare the dental hygiene treatment. They give the patients information to the dentist so that they know what equipment you will need to improve your teeth and mouth.

Educational Requirements: After you graduate from high school, you can get a bachelor’s degree in your choice of college. There is a series of classes you can take after to prepare you, then you must be supervised so you know how to work with patients.

Duties and Responsibilities: What they specialize in, is they treat patients who have gum diseases, or other problems with bones surrounding the jaw. Some time you might need surgery, but other times you may just need therapy so you can improve your jaws, or gums.

Reflection: i would not want to be this because I wouldn't want to be touching i other peoples mouth.

Reflection: If you go with a well rounded group you will become like them, the people around you influence who you will become. You need to make sure you choose the right crowd because you will mess up your future.

Dental Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: What they do is dental work they fix dental devices such as dentures, bridges, crowns and appliances to straighten and whiten your teeth. They also melt metals or mix plaster so they can frame the necessary equipment for the size of your mouth.

Average Salary: $36,000

Educational requirements: They must graduate from high school with a bachelor’s degree. Then those students can go to a university, community college, or technical college. After that you must take at least 2 year training, while you are supervised. 

Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon

Duties and Responsibilities: They are also called Otolaryngologists, they deal with surgery in the ear nose and throat. They also give treatment, it is from all ages. They help their patients in the privacy and comfort of their own home, medical clinics and hospital settings.

Reflection: what this statement means to me is when you have a task to do, your are the one who should complete it you can always count on other people to do things for you. You can pay someone to do things for you but it wont be your own work. Don't depend on others to complete your tasks.
