Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)

Duties and responsibilities:

This is a very valuable job that has to do with taking ultrasounds; ultrasounds are machines you use to check what’s inside a person’s stomach. For example, when someone is pregnant in order to see the baby to make sure it’s healthy, they use the machine. It can also be used to check organs in the body.

Average Salary: $65,000

Educational Requirements: You have to have graduated from high school, or get a GED. You have to take classes in training; you also have to be in programs in hospitals so you learn how to handle the equipment.
