Regarding Successful Living;

Reflection: This is a beautiful statement, i feel to me this means you cant have everything the easy way, you need to take little steps meaning do little things here and there and you will accomplish your whole goal. for example: You need to finish a science project by one week with a partner, but your partner keeps telling you, you have a lot of time when in reality you don't. You should do it little by little so eventually you guys will complete it.

Recreation Therapist
Duties and Responsibilities:

They provide treatment and recreation activities for people with disabilities or illnesses, they do this by using techniques such as arts and crafts, animals, music, community outing, and dance and movement. They also help patients that deal with depression, stress, and anxiety, or maybe they are recovering from a dramatic experience

Average Salary: $48,372

Educational Requirements:

You will need a bachelor’s degree, and also take programs with mental health topics. you will need to be supervised when you first start.

Reflection: When you do something wrong and you know its wrong, just because you are with a group of friends and they say if you tell anyone they will be mad at you, it  doesn't matter because your doing the right thing. You will at least know you did the right thing. When you choose to do something wrong and everyone wants to do it to, you need to think about what it is that your doing. Its you who can choose the right or wrong thing to do. Choose the Right!

Thoracic Surgery

Duties and Responsibilities:

They perform surgery within the chest area. They communicate with the patient’s doctor so they know the conditions the patient is in. They also read their medical record to know what’s been done. They have to know allergies the patient might have because they can be allergic to any medication they might have to give you, they find substitutions.

Average Salary: $350,000

Educational Requirements:

You will need about 13 to 16 years of education and training along with a bachelor’s degree. You will need two years of medical school.

Reflection: To me this is a beautiful statement that is written by a man who changed the world for us. You cant always follow your conscience reason being, it can not always be right. For example: When you are told to take care of something such as a phone or someones personal belonging(s), you need to make sure no one takes it not even you. if your conscience tells you to steel it because maybe your in need of money or need a new phone, its better to earn it with dignity and the right feeling. You need to earn the things you get by doing it yourself. That way you feel good and you don't make the person you stole from sad, because you don't know the work they did or what the person did to give them the item. So always choose the right. 

Radiologic Technologist 

Duties and Responsibility:

Radiologic Technologist use x-rays machines, positron emission scanners, and other technologically advanced machines to help diagnose the patients to see if they have illnesses and injuries which they are told from the doctor. They put the equipment in the right position at the right time; they also are responsible for explaining and getting the patients ready to do the treatment.

Average Salary: $24,000-$36,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses in English. They should have training for two years to learn to handle the equipment.

Reflection: What this statement means to me is to make us understand whats right, I feel that all the negativity we have towards each other should change. We need to do the right thing so everything can go well. For example, If you are told to do something and you have a partner who is not listening you need to keep doing the right thing and encourage them to do the right thing as well. You always have to choose the right. 

Radiation Therapy Technologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Radiation Therapy Technologist assist cancer specialist in treating disease. They expose the patient to ionizing radiation, they also help with additional treatments and Radiation therapy is provided in hospitals, public health clinics, cancer treatment centers, and private offices.

Average Salary: $22,000-$36,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses.  They should take a one year program so they know how to handle the equipment and learn to speak with patients. You will need a GED to enter the two year courses.

Reflection: When you do the right thing and you don't feel benefited at you, you actually reward yourself, by also gaining respect. You may not think that you are gaining anything but the reality is you are the feeling, the dignity and the self-esteem.  

Psychologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Psychologists study the behavior and actions of people to understand, explain, and change the way patients behave. They also do therapy and counseling to help those learn to cope with feelings and behavior problems. They work in schools, hospitals, clinics, and private practice.

Average Salary: $45,000-$65,000

Educational Requirements:

                Students must take the most challenging high school courses, especially in English and science. Clinical psychologists must complete a two-year supervised internship.

I would like to be this because I enjoy talking to people and helping people with emotional problems and how they feel.

Reflection: When you do something right it has to be done fully, if you don't then its not right. Ex: When you are told to be responsible and given a key to unlock a class room and get something for the teacher when no one else is in there, you need to get the thing asked for and make sure you don't steal anything, always be responsible.

Reflection: Ex: When you want straight A's you should persist go to tutoring, do all your homework, and go prepared and it will be easier to keep up. You will be rewarded with good grades and possibly a scholarship, you will then be happy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in the problems of mental illness. They find treatments to help cure the patient. They have their own private practice; they work in clinics, or universities. They also, 

·        design treatment programs

·        Conducting psychological sessions

·        Prescribing potent mental illness drugs.

·        Supervising electrotherapy treatments.

·        Conducting research.

Average Salary: $90,000-$200,000

Educational Requirements: You should get your undergraduate degree with a focus on pre-med; students can also get a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Reflection: Just because you have more than another person doesn't mean you have everything in the world.
You have to be an honest person with a great personality and you need to be a good person who is humble. Don't feel happy when you didn't get the things you have honestly.

Psychiatric Aide- Technician 

Duties and Responsibilities: These are professional who major in the medical field; they are required to give medical help to any, one with psychiatric problems. They attend to patients with problems such as, mental development and emotion issues also, people who are mentally deranged.

Students should take the most challenging high school courses, after you take classes in science math and English you will need to take training in psychology.

Reflection: For example, I want straight A's so badly. But how am i going to accomplish that if I don't have determination. I will be determines to get straight A's its not about popularity. You need to complete your goals. If you want to reach your goal just be determines. Nothing is impossible.

Choose The Right!

   Pharmacy Technician

Duties and Responsibility:

                Pharmacy technicians work in pharmacies, they do what the pharmacists tell them. Their main responsibility is to fill the prescriptions which the doctor informs them about. They measure the right amount of medicine from bigger containers. They recheck the medicine before handing it to patient. Their duties also include:

·         Checking inventories and ordering supplies

·         receiving and checking in supplies

·         Waiting on customers

·         keep areas in pharmacy clean

Average Salary: $15,000-$25,000

Educational Requirements:

                Students should take the most challenging high school courses, and typing courses in high school.  A high school diploma is required to begin the training in a pharmacy. These programs are six months.

Reflection: When you set a goal you should take it serious and complete it because you only live once so you should make it happy. Do what you want to do. In my goals, i put i wanted to learn the violin, therefore i need to practice to make it a reality. live your life to the fullest.
