Reflection: One thing that I WILL start doing is, I will finish all my homework and get straight A's on my next report card and I will persist until I succeed. I want to make my dad proud of me and know i care about my future. From now and on i will try my very best and do all my work, not only that but be a a better person and be caring. I will not give up until i succeed. 

           Perfusionist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical perfusionists operate circulation equipment during medical situations when it is necessary to temporarily and artificially replace the patient’s circulatory or respiratory systems. They do this during heart surgery and similar operations, they also control there partients. They also,

·         Operate heart lung machines

·         Adminintrating some type of anesthesia

·         administrating some type medication

Average Salary:  $50,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses in biology and chemistry, you will need a high school diploma. After high school you will need to have training, and be in programs that teach you how to manage the equipment.

Reflection: What this quote means to me is when you need to be persistent to be successful in life. You don't need an education, Talent or even being a Genius to be what you want you just need to follow your dream, Follow it know matter what. You also need to be determined on your dreams. 

Ex: I want to be a famous singer, to pursue this i need to be determined to practice everyday, and maintain my grades to. I also need to maintain my chores at home. If i am persistent and make myself determined to pursue this i can make it. 

Patient Representative

Duties and Responsibilities:

                Patient representatives work for health administrators to address the concerns and special needs in their families. They evaluate patient satisfaction, complaints, and they collect information about patients. They work in hospitals, nursing homes, and other long-term care facilities, and in public health agencies.

Average Salary:    $20,000-$40,000

Educational Requirements:

The student that wants to become a patient representative should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English. They requirements are different but most employers prefer college graduates with backgrounds in health or social services. Experience or courses work in conflict resolution is also valued.

Reflection: This is a statement, done by a world record holder in swimming for the most metals, is for anyone who wants to achieve there goals. It doesn't matter if you start off a failure, you can still have the potential to do what you like and look forward on accomplishing. Ex: I need to be persistent on keeping up with my grades, i need to do this because i want to succeed i want to be the best person i can be. I WILL try my very best till i accomplish my goal. 

Osteophic Physician (D.O.)

Duties and responsibilities:

Osteophic Physicians use accepted methods of finding out what’s wrong with you, like an injury’s and diseases. They practice with other kind of branched to, like they study medicine and surgery. The majority of osteopaths specialize in the following:

·         family practitioners

·         emergency medicine supplies

·         major in science

·         work in hospitals

Average Salary: $110,000

Educational requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses that include science, math and English. They should also have four years of college and must attend medical school. Student must take a year of biology, chemistry and physics. English is also required in this field.

Reflection: I would not like to be this because the average salary is to low, and i don't like seeing people hurt.

Optometrist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Optometrist treat vision problems, they help diagnosing problems and prescribing corrective eyeglasses. They also provide vision therapy, along with treatment of vision related learning disabilities. They work in hospitals, universities, or government agencies.

Average Salary: $78,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses which are available in math, science, English. Before you enter an optometrist school and take exams. After getting a degree of Doctor of Optometry, you must pass state exams before starting practice.

Reflection: You always want to be happy and choose the right thing to do. This statement says how if you keep your head up, you can accomplish anything because u will have confidence in yourself. 

Orthotist

Duties and responsibilities:

 Orthotists work with patients that need extra support on their muscles, spine, or limbs. They design the parts they need and they fit apparatuses made of plastic, wood, leather, and a metal to help there stability, and strengthen or repair body parts. Orthotists work closely with physicians, the physicians may give the prescription for the limb so that the patient can be stable. Therefore the orthotist make them along with Prosthetist.

Average Salary: $25,000-$40,000

Educational Requirements: Students should take the most challenging high school courses that include math, science, and English. Some colleges and university’s offer a bachelor’s degree in orthotic and prosthetic programs. 

                      Summary
  What i heard John F. Kennedy say in the video was how physical education matters. We have to be active and stay healthy. He also said how its the key to being mentally healthy. He said if the citizens are healthier they will live a longer healthier life, he doesn't care because hes the president, but because hes a father. I Becky commit to staying health and i will not smoke or drink. I want to stay healthy and live a long happy life!

Reflection:

this statement is referring to being healthy, this statement is also saying how we can have skill and we function at the peak of our captivity when we are strong and healthy. We should take into our hearts that we are healthy and appreciate the fact that we can do what others sadly can not. I feel now we as a new generation don't appreciate and care for others as much as people did back then. Always, Choose The Right!

Optician

Duties and responsibilities:

What they do is they fit and dispense eyeglasses for patients. Opticians help the customers choose their eye wear and what suits them. They also measure faces so they can fit the glasses. They also measure between eye corneas also to make it fitted. Some workers also work for optometrists

Average Salary: $19,000-$40,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses in physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry. A high school diploma or GED certificate is required.  They have two types of programs where you can train as an optician.

Reflection: To me this means it doesn't matter how you do your work or if you finish it, it matters how you do everything beyond whats expected. Always try your best in everything you do. Being excellent is choosing the right. 

Optical Laboratory Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

Optical laboratory technicians grind and fit eyeglass lenses into frames according to prescriptions. They also fit lenses into the frames of lenses. They also polish glasses, along with fitting the frames on patients. Many workers work in retail stores, which have optical departments.

Average Salary: $15,000-$20,000

Educational Requirements:

           A high school Diploma or GED certificate is needed to begin training, these training programs last bout six months to one year. They are provided by vocational schools and community colleges.

They help patients with eye problems, they also preform eye surgery.  Most ophthalmologists work in, hospitals or clinics, and others perform research. Most of them work in private practice.

                                                Educational Requirements:

    Only physicians may study to become one. After they complete training and such work they can get an examination so they can be certified.

Reflection:  To me this means when you do something bad like not doing your homework, you shouldn't blame other people for the mistake you did. you should take responsibility for your own actions. You should own up to the wrong doings you've done.

Ophthalmic Technicians or technologists collect data and measurements to allow the correct treatments of eye diseases and problems that can be found in the eyes. Their duties often deal with:

·         Preforming simple eye exams to see if everything is good

·         Assisting with eye surgery

·         Explaining diagnostic and treatment procedures to patients

Average Salary: $14,000-$25,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses and get a high school diploma, or GED certificate. You must take special programs to help you understand more. They may vary in length.

Progress Report Post

I have written 102 goals, out of all of them i basically wrote about accomplishing my dream in becoming a singer. So most of them are about being able to sing with famous singers today. other than that i would like to raise my grades and be able to make my dad proud. I am trying to do my best, i even got my own planner so i can write down all my homework and class work. I feel that im doing good with my goals as long as i keep doing my homework and studying.

 Operating Rooms Technicians

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operating room technicians are also called surgical technicians or surgical technologist. They make sure the operation room has everything needed. They have the job to have surgical instruments, sterile bandages and linen, needed fluids and lastly, they assist doctor by handing over the equipment. After operations they take the patients to the recovery room.

Average Salary: $16,000-$22,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses, they should have a high school diploma and a GED certificate is required. Students also have to pass an examination.
